Proxy authentication in internal browser.

Hi,
.
I'm currently using feedreader from work and have noticed some strange behaviour when IE has a proxy set that requires authentication. A few of the feeds i am subscribed to contain images, but only some of them will prompt for proxy authentication. The others won't load the images until i open a feed that does prompt and put in my details. Once i have entered my username and password, all feeds will display images just fine.
.
The feeds that prompt for proxy authentication are:
Gizmodo (http://www.gizmodo.com/index.xml)
Lifehacker (http://www.lifehacker.com/index.xml)
Australian Car Advice (http://www.caradvice.com.au/feed/)
.
and the feeds that don't prompt for proxy authentication are:
Dilbert (http://feeds.feedburner.com/tapestrydilbert)
xkcd (http://www.xkcd.com/rss.xml)
engadget (http://www.engadget.com/rss.xml)
.
All feeds work fine without a proxy.
I am currently using v3.08 and have tried the latest beta (v3.09) and the same thing happens.
.
Why would this happen on only certain feeds and not others? Is there anyway to use the proxy details in the feedreader options instead of the IE proxy settings so that i'm not prompted everytime?
.
Thanks in advance.
.
